On March 4, the Beijing Winter Paralympic Games opened. Paralympic athletes were struggling for their dreams on the field, and volunteers and staff on the field were also silently contributing to the daily life and training of disabled athletes and accompanying personnel.

For large-scale sports events, epidemic prevention and control is the top priority. The successful holding of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games has provided valuable experience for the epidemic prevention work of the Winter Paralympic Games. But at the same time, the special nature of the Winter Paralympic Games also brings new problems to epidemic prevention. In terms of epidemic prevention, volunteers and staff have always adhered to the principle of humanization of closed-loop epidemic prevention. In addition to continuing to use effective epidemic prevention measures verified by the Beijing Winter Olympics, the Organizing Committee has also "tailored" more humanized epidemic prevention measures for disabled athletes according to the characteristics and operation rules of the Winter Paralympic Games and taking into account the specific physical conditions of disabled athletes. Some disabled athletes have abnormal body temperature due to the loss of spinal cord function. In this regard, the Winter Paralympic Organizing Committee will review and record their medical certification materials in advance. After the on-site professional medical personnel judge that (abnormal body temperature) is consistent with the medical certificate, they can participate in the competition normally. For disabled athletes who cannot wear masks due to physical reasons, it is allowed to wear protective face screens. Some hearing impaired athletes need to take off their masks to communicate through lip language, and then wear masks.

In addition to the personalized adjustment of epidemic prevention measures, a large number of intelligent robots that once served the Beijing Winter Olympic Games also took up their posts again, continuing to provide all-round intelligent warming services. "Intelligent gatekeeper" patrols and monitors, and integrates on-site information to feed back to the security monitoring platform in real time. Not only that, it also carries a disinfection backpack, which can carry out intelligent autonomous disinfection spraying in the specified area, giving consideration to safety and epidemic prevention; The "intelligent delivery staff" can achieve a full floor multi task delivery at one time, and can also take the elevator to complete logistics distribution independently; As a new online celebrity "intelligent tea cook", he works with both hands at the same time. His skillful tea cooking skills are flowing freely, and he can also make coffee with his hands.

The Winter Paralympic Village recently welcomed a group of special volunteers - 68 guide dogs to help visually impaired athletes travel independently. It can be said that the accessibility of venues is meticulous and considerate everywhere. The added independent barrier free health declaration and verification machine, changing rooms, bathrooms, barrier free rooms all slope, all round corners, all low positions... all show warmth in every drop, demonstrating China's respect and understanding for the disabled.

The disabled athletes challenge the limits, surpass themselves and strive hard, just like the main torch of the Beijing Winter Paralympic Games. Although it is a light fire, it can also illuminate the world. The Beijing Winter Paralympic Games, full of warmth, let us move forward together.
