On the morning of June 2, 2022, a delegation led by Zhong Denghua, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education, and the Deputy Leader of the Leading Group of the Ministry of Education for Coping with COVID-19, came to Beijing Jiaotong University for a special survey to guide the school's epidemic prevention and control and teaching at the end of the term. Song Yi, a first level inspector of the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, and comrades from relevant departments and bureaus participated in the survey. Huang Taiyan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Wang Jiaqiong, President Xu Anguo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, accompanied the survey.

Zhong Denghua and his entourage successively came to the west gate of the school, the canteen of the student activity center, the nucleic acid detection point of the Tianyou Hall, and the unified receiving and dispatching point of the South Gate Express. They investigated the closed management of the school, the operation of the canteen, the nucleic acid detection in the school, the unified killing of the express, and the volunteer service of the pioneer post of party members and cadres during the epidemic prevention and control period.

Huang Taiyan and Wang Jiaqiong introduced the relevant work of the school, and reported the recent measures of the school from the aspects of campus management, material support, epidemic prevention and killing, teaching arrangements, emergency response, etc.

Zhong Denghua fully affirmed the relevant work of the school. He pointed out that the Ministry of Education attached great importance to the prevention and control of the epidemic situation in colleges and universities, and hoped that schools would make overall arrangements for online teaching, graduate studies, employment and other work in accordance with the unified deployment of the Ministry of Education, so as to minimize the impact of the epidemic situation on school teaching, scientific research and other work. At the same time, we should do our best to ensure the needs of teachers and students on campus, do a good job in nucleic acid testing, scientifically carry out campus killing, focus on the physical and mental health of students, and resolutely win the fight against campus epidemic prevention and control.
