On May 18, 2022, the school held an emergency deployment meeting for epidemic prevention and control online. The meeting conveyed the latest work requirements of the superior departments, reported the overall situation of epidemic prevention and control, and deployed the recent key work of the school. Huang Taiyan, Secretary of the Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. President Wang Jiaqiong presided over the meeting.

Huang Taiyan put forward four work requirements in combination with the situation of epidemic prevention and control in the capital and schools: first, improve the political position and unify the ideological understanding. All teachers and students of the school should firmly integrate their thoughts and actions with the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Beijing Municipality, take the initiative to take the responsibility, and focus on the prevention and control of epidemic diseases. Second, shoulder the main responsibility and strengthen the implementation of work. Adhere to the school's "one game of chess", focus on key links, compact responsibilities layer by layer, and ensure that all requirements are implemented in place. Third, adhere to systematic thinking and strengthen overall planning of work. In view of the different characteristics of students, faculty and retired comrades, we should do a good job in various service guarantees and in-depth and meticulous ideological work, so as to ensure strict rules and warm hearts. Fourth, we must be strict in discipline and obey the overall situation of our work. All teachers and students in the school should enhance their sense of rules, strictly enforce the requirements of discipline, strictly implement the regulations on epidemic prevention and control, and actively cooperate with the school and the community to do a good job in prevention and control. Huang Taiyan stressed that the current school epidemic prevention and control is in a critical period of greatest strength. The whole school should maintain calm and firm confidence, work together to overcome difficulties, and make every effort to weave a strong campus epidemic prevention and control network to ensure the health and life safety of teachers and students.

When presiding over the meeting, Wang Jiaqiong said that the whole school should resolutely implement the deployment of epidemic prevention and control, and firmly believe in winning the battle of epidemic prevention and control on campus.

Xu Anguo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Zheng Guangtian, Assistant to the President, conveyed the relevant requirements of the superior departments for epidemic prevention and control, and made specific arrangements for the next step.
