On March 31, 2024, the final defense of Beijing Jiaotong University's 2024 "Challenge Cup" Entrepreneurship Plan Competition was successfully held in Siyuan West Building, with 20 experts, scholars, business mentors, gold medal investors and other experts from relevant fields inside and outside the university serving as the final defense judges.

After the early online review, 108 groups of players from seven tracks stood out and entered the final defense. In the final, the defense team gave a vivid introduction to the project through the project background, technical principles, scientificity, cooperation, profitability, market analysis and other aspects in the five minute presentation time, showing their rich and colorful entrepreneurial works, reflecting the innovative thinking and entrepreneurial awareness of the players in each project group. The judges and teachers asked questions about the technical points, innovation points, financial analysis, ownership of intellectual property rights and market competitiveness of each group's works, and gave pertinent comments and suggestions on the students' defense and entrepreneurship projects from a professional perspective.

The contestants of this competition are from different schools, including different grades, and their works are of different styles. They fully mobilize the enthusiasm of all students in the school to participate in innovation and entrepreneurship activities, create a good atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship on campus, provide a rich reserve force for competitions such as "Challenge Cup" and "Internet+", and promote the development of our discipline competition activities.

The "Challenge Cup" series of competitions of Beijing Jiaotong University thoroughly implement Xi Jinping's new era socialist ideology, guide and encourage our young teachers and students to carry forward the spirit of the times, grasp the pulse of the times, closely combine the knowledge learned with economic and social development, cultivate and improve the awareness and ability of innovation and entrepreneurship, and promote the vigorous development of employment and entrepreneurship education for students, Discover and cultivate a group of outstanding talents with innovative thinking and entrepreneurial potential.

The Youth League Committee of the university will further strengthen the leading and exemplary role of competition activities such as the "Challenge Cup", widely carry out campus scientific innovation cultural practice activities, strengthen the campus scientific innovation cultural atmosphere, and effectively enhance the overall contribution of the Communist Youth League of the university in the task of the talent training center.
