On June 26, 2023, under the guidance of the Network Communication Bureau of the Central Cyberspace Office, sponsored by the Cyberspace Office of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee and the China News Network, and co organized by the Yunnan Branch of the China News Agency and the Cyberspace Office of the CPC Diqing Prefecture Committee, the "Generation Z Portrait of China" online interactive activity kicked off. Five international students from Russia, Bolivia, Mali, Cape Verde and Malawi participated in this activity as "Generation Z" youth representatives.

During the 6-day event, the "Generation Z" youth representatives will experience the colorful traditional culture of Tibetan cuisine, clothing, singing and dancing, visit the magnificent and dangerous natural landscapes such as Pudacuo National Park, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Balagezong, Meili Snow Mountain, etc., show the world the true, three-dimensional and comprehensive China from the perspective of youth, and promote the exchange and mutual learning of civilizations around the world.

During the activity, the representatives of overseas students of our school strengthened their exchanges with the local people through the "immersion" experience of Diqing, deepened their observation on the progress and achievements of Yunnan in economic and social development, ecological environment protection, urban construction, scientific and technological innovation, and further told Chinese stories in depth, novelty, and interest.
