On the evening of June 18, 2023, "Sailing on the Wind and Waves" - the farewell party for the 2023 graduates of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering was held in the lecture hall of the Jiujiao Center.

The farewell party will be divided into three chapters, namely, spring and autumn, short stories, and sailing.

The chapter of "Spring and Autumn" kicked off in the opening video "I Love Your Electrical and Mechanical Home". Then, the 2023 graduates' video "Ji Yi Liu Xia" was released slowly on the big screen, and precious photos recalled the graduates' good memories of campus life in the past.

Guo Sheng, President of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Wei Wangqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and other leaders of the College issued certificates of award to the winners of the Excellent Doctoral and Master's Dissertation Awards, Beijing Municipal and University level Outstanding Graduates, the Honorary Title of Outstanding Graduate Cadres, and the "Flying Award" for employment in the west and grassroots.

In the chapter of "paper is short and love is long", the graduation commemoration video "Cheers" reappears the graduates from their ignorance at the beginning of freshman year to their high spirits today, and shows the colorful college life from the perspective of students.

Xu Zikun, a 2023 undergraduate graduate, Chen Wantong, a master's graduate, and Zhang Guopeng, a doctoral graduate, shared their time in the process of studying at Jiaotong University, expressed gratitude for the cultivation of the school, and promised on behalf of the graduates to practice the motto of "knowing and doing" of Jiaotong University, contribute to the motherland, and add glory to their alma mater.

The college also prepares an exclusive souvenir - "electromechanical hammer" for each graduate every year. Liu Dongwei, director of the Party and Political Affairs Office of the College, introduced the implication of "electromechanical hammer" and the college's good hopes for all graduates.

In order to strengthen alumni ties, the College has appointed an alumni liaison from each class and issued a letter of appointment, looking forward to the day when graduates meet again.

In the chapter of "Sailing Away", the graduates expressed their nostalgia for campus life and confidence in the future by reciting "Songs of the Year" through the music poem.

Guo Sheng, the dean of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, wishes all the 2023 graduates good luck and hopes that they will never forget their original intention in the future journey, know how to do and innovate, drink water and think about the source, be the practitioners of the school motto of "know how to do", and be the inheritors of the electromechanical spirit of "honesty, pragmatism, innovation and progress". They should be grateful, open minded, dedicated, brave, and cultivate family and country feelings, Take responsibility and responsibility.

When the music rings, a song "You at the same table" means the departure of college and graduate life, and a song "The Sea of Stars" shows all graduates' hope for future life and confidence in the prosperity of the motherland.

The farewell party ended when all teachers and students sang "Sing to the Motherland" together.

In addition, the farewell party also sent graduation cultural and creative souvenirs such as mugs, canvas bags, and polaroid to the graduates through two rounds of on-site lottery, expressing the college's deep wishes for the graduates.
