（1） Implement the Party's and the country's educational guidelines, policies, laws and regulations, organize the drafting of local regulations and rules on education, and promote the legal construction of the education system.
（2） To be responsible for the overall planning of the province's education, undertake research and policy research on major issues of education reform and development, formulate and organize the implementation of the province's education reform and development policies, work with relevant departments to formulate school setting standards and supervise their implementation, and be responsible for the statistics, analysis and release of the province's basic education information.
