Summer has quietly arrived, and the green plants in the parks and streets have also ushered in a period of high incidence of pests and diseases. In order to cope with this challenge, Jiutai District of Changchun City recently introduced the UAV spraying technology to minimize the impact on the environment while ensuring the operation efficiency.

In the Park on the other side of Jiutai District, an agricultural UAV is spraying pesticides in the air. The operator, through the remote control in his hand, accurately controls the UAV to shuttle between the treetops, as if performing an "aerial acrobatic performance".

"After our experiment last year, this UAV has a particularly good spraying effect, a wide range of operations, and high efficiency. It has great advantages compared with the vehicle mounted medicine dispenser. We plan to use it in a large area in the whole district this year." The relevant person in charge of the Plant Protection Department of the Garden Management Center of Jiutai District Forestry Bureau introduced.

It is understood that the UAV is equipped with high-precision GPS navigation system and efficient spraying device, which can achieve accurate positioning in flight and effectively adjust the dosage of chemicals, so as to save water, energy and reduce environmental pollution. Through professional training, UAV operators can master the basic principles, flight operations, safety regulations and emergency measures of UAVs. During the spraying process, supervisors can confirm the position and status of UAVs on site in real time to ensure the accuracy and safety of operations.
