This year, for the first time, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) issued a commemorative medal of "50 Years of Glory in the Party" to the surviving party members who have reached the 50th anniversary of their party age and consistently performed well by July 1, 2021. In order to ensure that every eligible party member is awarded a commemorative medal before July 1, and deeply feel the care and warmth of the CPC Central Committee, Gongzhuling City started the issuance work from the middle of June, and as of July 1, 4170 commemorative medals of "50 years of glory in the party" were awarded.

Raise awareness and promote orderly. In combination with the actual situation of Gongzhuling City, the Work Plan for the Issuance of the Commemorative Medal of "Glory in the Party for 50 Years" was issued, which incorporated the issuance of the commemorative medal into the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the education of the Party history, and the recognition of July 1, so as to enhance the sense of honor, belonging, and mission of Party members.

Deliberate handling and strict review. First, make accurate statistics to ensure that each party member meets the requirements. The second is accurate coverage to ensure the accurate distribution range of commemorative medals. The third is accurate verification to provide political guarantee for the issuance of commemorative medals.

Take care to ensure safety. The Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee shall set up a storage room for commemorative medals to ensure their safe storage. In the process of distribution, a standing book system shall be implemented to ensure that each party member who receives the commemorative medal is registered and documented. At the time of issuance, we should increase publicity, guide young Party members to match the lofty realm and pragmatic style of old Party members, and strive to be good Party members and cadres with faith, responsibility, integrity, and feelings.
