On the evening of July 1, the great journey, a literary performance celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, was broadcast on CCTV. More than 400 performers and staff from Jilin Province made a wonderful appearance and sent the most sincere and affectionate wishes to the centennial birthday of the Party with their exquisite performances.

On the evening of June 28, the great journey, a literary performance celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, was held in the National Stadium "Bird's Nest". Before and after the party, the reporter walked into the performance team of Jilin Province and listened to their stories behind the rehearsal.

Jilin Song and Dance Troupe, which has been on the stage of CCTV Spring Festival Gala for 24 consecutive years, carefully selected 60 outstanding actors to participate in six programs, including scene dance "Uprising", scene chorus "Roar the Yellow River", and dance "Founding Ceremony". After receiving the invitation notice of the evening performance at the beginning of the year, Jilin Song and Dance Troupe attached great importance to it and selected 30 male and female actors with high political literacy and professional ability. On March 25, they began to rehearse in the early stage at the Jige residence in Beijing. On April 12, they arrived in Jizhong District of Beijing to rehearse with other teams. In order to present the program to the audience more brilliantly, all the actors rehearsed against time. "In the process of rehearsal, we encountered many unexpected difficulties. There were also 410 students from the Dance School of Jilin Academy of Arts who also made a brilliant debut in the artistic performance.
