People's Daily Online, Changsha, May 23 (Reporter Xiang Yu) On May 22, the press conference of 2024 Hunan International Cultural Tourism Festival and Ctrip's global partner Hunan (Zhangjiajie) Inbound Tourism Conference was held in Changsha. At the meeting, Shang Bin, Deputy Director General of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hunan Province, announced that the event would be held in Zhangjiajie from May 31 to June 4.
Hunan International Cultural Tourism Festival has been held for 19 times since 2002, and has become one of the well-known cultural tourism festivals in China. The theme of this activity is "Hello Hunan Meet Zhangjiajie", with the promotion of international tourism consumption and the ecological upgrading of tourism industry as the main theme, with one session as the main content, and international exchanges as the core, to build a global exchange and cooperation platform for Hunan culture and tourism, and accelerate the recovery and development of inbound tourism.
During the event, there will also be 2024 Ctrip Word of mouth Global Award Ceremony, 2024 Hunan International Cultural Tourism Festival and the opening ceremony of Ctrip's global partner Hunan (Zhangjiajie) Inbound Tourism Conference, Ctrip's global partner Hunan (Zhangjiajie) Inbound Tourism Conference, Zhangjiajie and Xiangxi Prefecture Cultural Tourism Project Product Trail and other activities, With the help of domestic and overseas tourism resources of Ctrip Group, it will also carry out global tourism market promotion activities in Hunan to accelerate the recovery and development of inbound tourism.

In the first quarter, Hunan received 406100 inbound tourists, a year-on-year increase of 14.28 times; The foreign exchange income from inbound tourism reached US $127.5192 million, a year-on-year increase of 23.71 times. Data shows that Zhangjiajie is still the first choice destination for inbound tourists in Hunan, and South Korea is the main source of tourists in Zhangjiajie.
