Recently, the reporter learned from Guangzhou Railway Group that before and after the Dragon Boat Festival, from June 21 to 25, Guangzhou Railway Group is expected to send 9.3 million passengers, with an average daily passenger volume of 1.86 million, an increase of 2.637 million or 39.6% year on year.

During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, Hunan will open high-speed trains to and from cities in the province, especially from Changsha to Changde, Zhangjiajie, Shaoyang, and several cities to Guangdong. At the same time, it is planned to add 56 ordinary speed trains from Guangzhou to Nanxiong, Loudi, Yueyang, Yongzhou, Yanling, Shenzhen to Changsha, Yueyang, Changsha to Chenzhou, Yueyang, Huaihua, etc.

June 22 is expected to be the peak of passenger flow during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. Guangzhou Railway Group will significantly increase the delivery capacity. On that day, 2782 trains will be operated, including 2460 multiple unit trains, 744 large marshalling and multiple unit trains, and 107 additional multiple unit trains.
