In summer, clear water ripples on the river, green mountains and rivers on both sides, and egrets hover. After the optimization of the ecological environment in many areas, a large number of migratory birds have moved back to live next to humans and share a livable living environment, presenting an ecological picture of people living in harmony with nature.

Zhaizhang Village, Yangasha Street, Jianhe County, is located on a peninsula by the Qingshui River. Surrounded by water on three sides, it is rich in vegetation and beautiful in environment. It is reputed as the "Peach Blossom Garden of Miao Village". The good environment has become the first choice for herons from the upstream and downstream of Qingshui River to live, feed, nest and breed here.

Morning is an active period for herons to hunt. A large number of egrets and night herons stand on branches or hover on the water, and sometimes make cheerful calls. As soon as one takes off, the trees and birds in the forest suddenly rise and fly out of the trees one by one, which is very spectacular.

"Egrets are known as' fairies by the water ', and also known as water quality inspectors. After we have good water in Jianhe Mountain, Egrets naturally like to settle down here." Photographer Yang Qinghe, after retirement, will come to the Qingshui River every day to take photos of birds, observe and record the scenery along the coast and bird habitat. He not only took photos of birds, but also joined the ranks of bird lovers and bird guards, calling on people to guard these "elves" together.

According to him, the number of herons used to be very small, not as spectacular as it is now. In the past two years, the number of herons can reach about 2000 when the number is high. Not only him, but also many photographers and tourists from surrounding counties and cities came here to watch birds.

Yang Qinghe said, "I have photographed many birds along the river, including kingfishers, sunbirds, egrets, night herons, herons and cattle backed herons. Their posture and color are very beautiful. They are very interesting and interesting to shoot. I'm going to make a picture of a hundred birds and show them."

Qingshui River is an important tributary of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. Qingshui River flows through 9 towns (streets) in Jianhe County, with a total length of 101 kilometers and 20 tributaries in the county. In recent years, Jianhe County has adhered to the concept of green development, actively implemented the "forest leader system" and "river leader system", and continued to carry out forest and water ecological environment protection and restoration, so as to achieve clean rivers, green banks, and beautiful scenery in the county. The ecological environment in the basin has been continuously improved, providing living conditions and breeding space for biodiversity.

"We often patrol on the water and see that the scenery on both sides of the river is getting better and better, the mountains are getting greener, and there are more and more kinds of aquatic plants and birds.
