It is reported that the theme of the 2024 "China Tourism Day" is "Enjoy China, Happy Life", which aims to show the development achievements of China's tourism industry, promote the prosperity of the tourism market, and advocate a healthy and civilized lifestyle. Guiyang, as one of the main host cities of "China Tourism Day" in 2024, will carry out a series of colorful cultural and tourism activities around the theme of "entertainment".

The launch ceremony closely linked to the establishment of the "China Tourism Day", broke the traditional form of presentation of activities, took Xu Xiake's tour of Guizhou as the main line, created an immersive performance script "Xu Xiake", and connected all aspects of the launch ceremony. At the launching ceremony, Guiyang Municipal People's Government issued an invitation to tourists from all over the country to share the charm of "Six Cool"; Mafengwo Destination Research Institute, representatives of Guiyang Tourism Industry Association and cultural tourism promotion officials of Huaxi District introduced new cultural tourism products and methods in Guizhou Province and Guiyang City.

In recent years, Guizhou has attracted more and more tourists with its unique natural scenery, rich and colorful ethnic culture and increasingly perfect tourism facilities. The launching ceremony was hosted by Guizhou Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Guiyang Municipal People's Government, undertaken by Guiyang Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Huaxi District People's Government, and Huaxi Cultural Tourism Innovation Zone Management Committee, and attended by relevant leaders of tourism industry enterprises such as Guiyang Tourism Industry Association, travel agencies, tourist attractions, star rated hotels, boutique B&Bs, and tourism commodity enterprises.
