People's Daily Online, Beijing, June 11 (Chu Zirui) According to the Social Organization Management Bureau of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Ministry of Civil Affairs recently issued an administrative punishment warning to Zhou Peiyuan Foundation.

After investigation, the proportion of public welfare expenditure of Zhou Peiyuan Foundation (non-public foundation) in 2019 is 5.19%, which violates the provisions of the first paragraph of Article 29 of the Foundation Management Regulations - the public welfare expenditure of the public foundation in the articles of association shall not be less than 70% of the total income of the previous year; Each year, the non-public fund shall spend no less than 8% of the fund balance of the previous year on public welfare undertakings as stipulated in the articles of association.

The Ministry of Civil Affairs issued an administrative punishment of warning to Zhou Peiyuan Foundation in accordance with Item (4), Paragraph 1, Article 42 of the Foundation Management Regulations.

At the same time, according to the relevant provisions of the Measures for the Management of Credit Information of Social Organizations, the Ministry of Civil Affairs has included the administrative punishment in the abnormal list of social organization activities since the effective date.
