One Letter Repeated Reply by Master of Photoprinting
"One Letter Repeated Reply" is an important manuscript of the Master of Photoprinting. Master Yinguang, the 13th generation of the founder of the Pure Land Sect of China, was born in 1861 and died in 1940. It is relatively close to our present era, and the era in which Indo Zu lived was the period when our Chinese nation suffered from internal worries and external difficulties; It is also a time when western culture entered China and Chinese traditional culture withered day by day. Confucian culture has basically interrupted its inheritance, and Chinese Buddhism has also been impacted. In such an era, Master Yinguang was a founder born of plunder. In response to the disaster of the times, we should turn the tide in the end. In modern China, thanks to a group of eminent monks like Yinzu, Buddhism was passed down in Sinian. In his early years, Yin Zu became a monk and hid his strength from outsiders. In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Gao Henian's Jushi published several papers of Yinzu, such as "On Religion Should Not Be Indiscriminate", "On the Three Roots of Pure Land Popularization", and "On Buddhism Based on Filial Piety", in the "Buddhist Series", and signed them "Chang Qian". These manuscripts, with their insightful purity and the influence of words, immediately attracted the attention of both teachers and students.
