Ask one

  • Conversion is a passport to Buddhism. Conversion is also the basic standard to distinguish between Buddhists and non Buddhists. We study Buddhism in order to find the final destination of life. It is from a self centered life to a three treasure centered life. Every inner life has all the qualities of Sanbao. In other words, at some level of the soul, we are no different from the Buddhas in the Ten Directions.

Ask Two

  • Adherence is dependence and follow. "Yi" and "Zhi" cannot be understood separately. This "Zhi" is different from the "Zhi" of Zhiguan, which refers to meditation practice. "Self reliance and Dharma reliance" tells us that learning Buddhism should rely on our own efforts and the guidance of Buddhism.

Ask three

  • Merit is also a kind of benefit. Then, can you practice with a utilitarian mind? For ordinary people, if there is no benefit, I'm afraid no one is willing to practice. However, if we stay on the basis of utilitarianism, we cannot get rid of our attachment to virtue. Then, the cultivation realm will not be improved. Therefore, we also need to cultivate the concept of emptiness in order to transcend our egotism and utilitarianism.

Ask four

  • Anger is called "hatred" in Buddhism. Usually, it is a reaction to people or things we don't want to hear or see. Especially after the "self" is hurt, we tend to show this trouble as a reflex. The key to prevent this emotion is to downplay the ego and put yourself in the other's shoes. At the same time, actively practice love and compassion.

Ask Five

  • Although the purpose of running an enterprise is to make profits, the fundamental purpose of life is not necessarily to make profits. The spirit of Mahayana Buddhism advocates "self-interest and altruism, consciously aware of others", and teaches us to help all sentient beings as our own responsibility. Such a desire is the driving force for a good enterprise. If entrepreneurs can have the feelings of benefiting the public and the mission of benefiting the society, they will have greater power to develop enterprises.
