Fuzhou, people.com.cn, May 24 (Reporter Lin Xiaoli) On the morning of the 24th, the 7th Digital China Construction Summit with the theme of "releasing the value of data elements and developing new quality productivity" was opened in Fuzhou, Fujian Province.

It is reported that this summit highlights "three focuses": focus on data as a new type of production factor, giving full play to the role of data elements in amplification, superposition and multiplication; Focus on consolidating the "two foundations" of digital infrastructure and data resource system, and strengthen high-level digital support; Focus on the new generation of digital technology, and promote enabling economic and social development.

During the summit, the opening ceremony, main forum, sub forum and digital China innovation contest will be held, and a live experience area will be set up. The opening ceremony and the main forum will release the Digital China Development Report (2023), and hold the launching ceremony of the "2024 National Digital Literacy and Skills Improvement Month". The sub forum covered topics such as data resources and digital security, digital economy, digital government, digital culture, digital society, and digital Fujian. The on-site experience area will display the latest digital achievements in various fields.

The Summit was co hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Data Bureau, the National Cyberspace Office, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the People's Government of Fujian Province, and undertaken by Fuzhou Municipal People's Government and relevant units.
