The results of transformation and application of intellectual property rights in Fujian Province in 2023 were released on site. It is reported that by the end of 2023, the number of high-value invention patents in Fujian Province had reached 34300, a year-on-year increase of 22.94%, including 24000 high-value invention patents for strategic emerging industries. At present, the province has three national intellectual property protection centers and two rapid rights protection centers. As one of the first batch of data intellectual property pilot areas in China, Fujian was rated as an excellent pilot place in the 2023 annual acceptance, and two more cases were selected as outstanding cases in the "Ten Thousand Miles Journey of Intellectual Property Service" activity of the State Intellectual Property Office.
It is worth mentioning that 160 enterprises in the province actively participated in the implementation of the ISO56005 international standard pilot, 88 colleges and universities and state-owned enterprises joined the patent open license pilot, and successfully achieved 369 transactions (times), with the amount of intellectual property pledge financing reaching 10.073 billion yuan.
On the day of the event, the phased results of the special action for patent transformation and application in Fuzhou, the results of geographical indication protection in Zhangzhou, and the patent navigation of the regional planning of Fuzhou High tech Zone were also released simultaneously. In addition, the Open Day activities also covered Fuzhou patent transformation experience sharing, PCT patent lectures, Zhangzhou geographical indication product exhibition tasting meeting, etc.
It is understood that the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and the Fujian Provincial People's Government have always attached great importance to intellectual property work, and took the lead in establishing a leading group of the CPC Fujian Provincial Party Committee to accelerate the construction of a strong province in intellectual property, with the secretary of the provincial Party Committee as the team leader and the governor as the first deputy team leader, to promote the construction of a strong province in intellectual property into the "fast lane".

Liu Zhengying, a member of the Party Leadership Group of Fujian Provincial Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Office) and director of the Provincial Intellectual Property Development and Protection Center, said that Fujian was currently deeply promoting the special action of patent transformation and application, The effective patent inventory rate of colleges and universities is 92%, the innovation vitality of the province continues to burst, the pace of transformation and application is comprehensively accelerated, and the service guarantee system is constantly improved, providing fertile soil for the development of new quality productivity.
