Fuzhou, People's Daily Online, August 27 – On August 26, the Xingguo Qingliu section of Xingquan Railway began dynamic inspection and acceptance, preparing for the opening and operation conditions at the end of September.

Xingquan Railway is an important part of the railway passage from the southeast coastal cities to the central region. It starts from Xingguo in Jiangxi in the west, passes through the hills in southern Jiangxi, enters the mountainous areas of Fujian, and passes through Wuyi and Daiyun Mountains to Quanzhou, the coast of the East China Sea. The railway is not only a national first-class single track electrified railway with mixed passenger and freight lines, but also a regional passenger and freight railway focusing on developing land resources along the line and serving old revolutionary base areas.

It is understood that the Xingquan Railway is 459.34km long, with a design speed of 160km/h, of which the Xingguo Qingliu section is 172.527km long. It is expected to be ready for operation by the end of September this year, which will end the history of no access to railways in Ningdu, Shicheng, Ninghua and Qingliu counties, and further promote the economic and social development of Jiangxi and Fujian provinces.
