The 7th Digital China Construction Summit opened on May 24. The Digital China Development Report (2023) released on the same day shows that the digital China will show a good development trend in 2023.

In 2023, China's digital economy will maintain steady growth, and the added value of the core industries of the digital economy will account for 10% of GDP. The data element market is becoming increasingly active. In 2023, the total data production will reach 32.85ZB (one ZB equals one trillion bytes), with a year-on-year growth of 22.44%. The digital infrastructure continues to expand and speed up. The total computing power has reached 230 EFLOPS (EFLOPS refers to 10 billion floating point operations per second), ranking second in the world.
