Especially since this year, under the influence of positive factors such as the continuous expansion of China's visa free circle of friends, the substantial growth of port import and export trade, the increasingly close bilateral and multilateral relations, and the increasingly frequent personnel exchanges, and since April 13 this year, the railway departments of China and Laos have opened an additional pair of international passenger trains between Xishuangbanna and Luang Prabang, Laos, The average daily traffic volume of the China Laos Railway has increased to more than 670 person times, with the highest traffic volume exceeding 1000 person times. It took more than 240 days for cross-border passengers to break through the first 100000 person times, and it took more than 150 days for them to go from 100000 person times to 200000 person times.

In order to comprehensively improve the level of customs clearance facilitation at ports, Mohan Border Inspection Station actively promotes the construction of "smart ports". In the border inspection area, the station is equipped with an intelligent language translator, which can translate more than 70 languages around the world in real time, facilitating communication between immigration management police and domestic and foreign passengers. Measures such as convenient customs clearance, booking customs clearance, centralized inspection and release, and early issuance of the Alien Entry Card have been implemented successively.
