On the 21st, the 2024 China Round Tower International Rally ushered in the competition for the first special stage (SS1). Under the scorching heat, the riders encountered extreme challenges when they just set foot on the journey, and famous players such as Nels Tyric and Han Wei showed strong strength and finally successfully completed the race.

The first special stage starts from Yingjisha County, Kashi Prefecture, Xinjiang, and ends at Dawakun Desert Tourist Area, Yuepuhu County, with a total length of about 150 kilometers. Players need to cross desert, Gobi and other complex terrain in hot weather. Compared with the "gentleness" of the first round tower race last time, many riders were in frequent condition soon after this start.

The French rider Neles Tyric of the Crossroad Motorsport Team of Excelle showed strong strength. He started in the third place on the day, taking the lead in finishing the race with a relatively obvious advantage. However, for the second year in a row, Terek said after the competition that the stage was quite difficult, comparable to the Dakar Rally. "Shortly after starting, my motorcycle positioning system broke down. The sand road was very soft and the temperature was very high. I fell down several times, but fortunately I was not injured."

As for the car team, Han Wei took the lead in reaching the destination. He said that the terrain of the first stage was complex, and whether it was grass, soft sand or flying dust, it created some challenges for him. "The organizing committee told us before that it was not difficult, but unexpectedly it was very difficult." Han Wei said, "If everyone can finish the competition successfully, it is a good performance."

On the 22nd, drivers will compete in Maggette County, where they will go deep into the famous "Devil Stage" N39 to challenge the limits. In 2019, dozens of racing cars were trapped in the soft sand pit of this stage. (Reporter Dai Ziluan, Sun Zhe)
