Group picture: Olympic champions carrying forward the Chinese sports spirit walk into Jiangxi campus and community

People's Daily Online, Beijing, May 21 (Reporter Yang Lei) Recently, the 2024 "China Action" Red Sports Conference was held in Ruijin and Yudu, Jiangxi Province. As an important part of the conference, Olympic champions such as Wang Yifu, Zhao Yunlei, Qi Guangpu, Guo Weiyang and Peng Bo walked into the campus and community, interacted with local students and citizens, and promoted the Chinese sports spirit.

Witnessed by the Olympic champions, Ruijin Jinsui School held the "Little Red Scarf Meeting Championship Dream - Olympic champions entering the campus and the theme team day activity of Jinsui School".

The Olympic champions visited the students' dragon dance, basketball gymnastics, sunshine break and other sports activities, and conducted a simulated "torch relay" with the students, implying the transmission and realization of dreams.

Later, Wang Yifu came to the school shooting gallery, carefully watched the training of the school shooting team, and personally gave technical guidance to the team members.

Zhao Yunlei came to the badminton hall to compete with her classmates. She encouraged them to persevere and not give up when they encountered difficulties in training or life. Zhao Yunlei said in an interview with a reporter: "When I walked into the campus today, I felt full of youth. It was very meaningful to communicate with these children. I hope to pass on badminton to more teenagers through more such activities, so that they can love this sport."

Zhao Yunlei, Guo Weiyang, Peng Bo and their party walked into Tongxin Square, Tantou Community, Zishan Town, Yudu County to experience the special projects of local ethnic villages - drum dance and bamboo dance, taste the special agricultural products, experience the local characteristic tea, and feel the unique charm of Chinese tea culture. On the square, Zhao Yunlei also played a friendly badminton match with the community to encourage everyone to actively participate in physical exercise and transmit positive sports energy.
