Liu Xincheng, professor of Capital Normal University, Yu Dianli, director and deputy general manager of China Publishing Media Co., Ltd., Chen Heng, professor of Shanghai Normal University, Gu Qing, executive director and party secretary of the Commercial Press, delivered a speech and jointly unveiled the regional country research and publishing center of the Commercial Press.

Liu Xincheng, a professor of Capital Normal University, pointed out that the establishment of the Regional Country Studies and Publishing Center of the Commercial Press shows that a rising nation has learned from and absorbed the achievements of human civilization, studied and learned from the development experience of other countries with a confident and rational attitude, and adapted to the needs of building the modern civilization of the Chinese nation, It also shows that Chinese scholars and publishers have a sense of responsibility under the new historical conditions.

Gu Qing, Executive Director and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Commercial Press, said that the Commercial Press would take the establishment of the regional country research and publishing center as an opportunity, based on its own publishing advantages, serve and lead academia, focus on content publishing, take results as the orientation, take development as the goal, take networking as the starting point, and rely on philosophy, sociology, economics, literature, history, politics, law Various academic resources, such as economy, management, and small languages, are committed to breaking the barriers between schools and disciplines in the current domestic regional country studies, integrating forces, promoting interdisciplinary exchanges, providing a platform for sharing research results, demonstrating national achievements, and jointly serving the national strategy.

The experts at the meeting had a full discussion on the discipline construction of regional country studies and the next work of the center, and put forward many thoughtful, forward-looking and practical opinions and suggestions. Experts said that they would actively support the research and publishing work of the Center, jointly promote the development of regional and national disciplines, meet the challenges in the new knowledge change, and make contributions to the construction of a regional and national discipline system, academic system, and discourse system with Chinese characteristics.
