In the warm spring, in the concert hall of the National Music Hall of the China Conservatory of Music, the well-known Chinese music "Jasmine Flower" and the famous Hungarian music "Chardashi Dance" were heard. On the stage, the melodious melody of the Chinese dulcimer and the gentle and deep timbre of the Hungarian Zimbalone add radiance to each other, giving new charm to the two classical music. In the warm applause of the audience, the Hungarian dulcimer player and the chairman of the World dulcimer association, Hrensa, together with the Chinese dulcimer player, the chairman of the dulcimer professional committee of the Chinese National Orchestra Association, and the vice chairman of the World dulcimer association, Li Lingling, walked to the stage to greet the audience. At this moment, the dulcimer closely linked two artists, two nations and two countries from the east and the west.

The dulcimer is a musical instrument with cosmopolitan and national characteristics. The Chinese dulcimer belongs to the dulcimer family together with the Hungarian Zimbalone and other such instruments in the world. They are rooted in different cultural soil and have developed into national instruments that people of all countries are proud of.

In 1991, the World Dulcimer Association was registered in Hungary and successfully held the first World Dulcimer Conference. Professor Xiang Zuhua, the first generation dulcimer artist in New China, together with her apprentice Li Lingling, professor of dulcimer at China Conservatory of Music, was invited to attend the meeting as a founding member of the World dulcimer Association. This conference not only established the important position of Chinese dulcimer in the world dulcimer family, but also opened a new era of Sino Hungarian dulcimer art exchange.

From the 8th World Dulcimer Congress in 2005, the 12th World Dulcimer Congress in 2013, and the 15th World Dulcimer Congress in 2019, the success of each World Dulcimer Congress in China is inseparable from the strong support of Hungarian Dulcimer artists.
