Zhang Haihua introduced the preparation progress of the Asian Winter Games from the aspects of competition organization, venue reconstruction, service guarantee, image promotion of the Asian Winter Games, and urban quality improvement. Up to now, the ninth Asian Winter Games in 2025 has determined the competition scheme of six major events, 11 sub events and 64 minor events, and on April 30, the registration work by project and number of people was launched comprehensively; The overall schedule of the Games has been determined through consultation with the OCA, and the schedules of each individual competition will be prepared after the completion of registration; Technical representatives for speed skating, short track speed skating, figure skating, hockey, curling, alpine skiing, skiing and mountaineering have been determined. The transformation of the event venues is being comprehensively promoted. Harbin and Yabuli, the two major competition areas, seven competition venues and three training venues are all existing venues or temporary venues; The upgrading and transformation of competition venues has been fully launched on March 31, and it is expected that all will be completed and the functional acceptance of the event will be completed on October 31, and test events will be held successively from the beginning of November; 38 hotels were identified as the residences of athletes, technical officials, media and other customer groups.

In terms of service guarantee, 31 designated hospitals and medical service points of various venues were initially determined; Completed the planning layout and design scheme of 2 anti doping check stations and 5 anti doping check stations in the Asian Winter Games; The recruitment of volunteers for the Games has received a warm response, with more than 100000 applicants. 6600 volunteers have been selected for the Games.

In terms of event promotion and urban quality improvement, the emblem, slogan and sports icon of the Asian Winter Games have been released successively, the official website has been officially launched, and the 300 day countdown theme event has been successfully held. Relying on the hosting of the Asian Winter Games, urban construction and transformation, environmental governance, transportation upgrading, venue facilities improvement and other work are also in progress simultaneously.
