The Chinese team successfully qualified for the men's 4 × 100 meter relay Olympic Games, while in the women's 4 × 100 meter relay (the second round), the Chinese team ran 43.13 seconds, ranking third in the group, and failed to qualify for the Olympic Games directly.

In this world relay race, the Chinese track and field team sent six male and six female athletes to compete in the male and female 4 × 100m relay events. According to the rules, 14 of the 16 tickets for each of the 5 relay events of the Paris Olympic Games will be produced in this World Relay. According to the competition rules, in the men's and women's 4 × 100m relay Olympic qualification round (the first round), all the participating teams are divided into four groups. The top two teams of each group, a total of eight teams, will advance to the final. At the same time, they will be directly qualified for the Paris Olympic Games. This morning, the women's 4x100m relay (the second round) was contested. The Chinese team's lineup was not adjusted. Finally, Liang Xiaojing, Ge Manqi, Yuan Qiqi and Li Yuting ran out of 43.13 seconds and ranked third in the group, failing to qualify for the Olympic Games directly. According to the rules, if within the target date, the Chinese women's team is ranked in the top two teams that have not obtained Olympic qualification, it still has the opportunity to enter the Olympic Games.

In the subsequent men's 4 × 100 meter relay final, the Chinese team sent Wu Zhiqiang, Deng Zhijian, Yan Haibin and Chen Jiapeng to fight, and finally ranked sixth with 38.75 seconds.
