People's Daily Online, Beijing, June 24 (Reporter Lu Jing) According to the comprehensive calculation of the data center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, 106 million domestic tourism trips were made during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, up 32.3% year on year, and it recovered to 112.8% in the same period of 2019 on a comparable basis; Domestic tourism revenue reached 37.310 billion yuan, up 44.5% year on year, and returned to 94.9% in the same period of 2019 on a comparable basis. The supply of cultural and tourism products is abundant. The national culture and tourism system enriches the supply of cultural and tourism products and services, and deepens the connotation and atmosphere of festivals. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism carried out the special tourism promotion activities of "traveling with the seasons in China", "city tour notes" and "my hometown has treasures", carried out the tourism creative publicity of the "24 solar terms" such as the beginning of the summer festival and the Dragon Boat Festival, and cooperated with the network media platform to increase the publicity and promotion of tourism leisure activities, cultural folk activities and tourism measures to benefit the people during the Dragon Boat Festival, Cooperate with online tourism platform to increase the supply of tourism product routes of "Happy Summer", and continue to create a strong tourism atmosphere.

The folk culture activities are brilliant. Intangible cultural heritage folk customs and traditional culture are integrated into modern mass cultural life, and new scenes of deep integration of culture and tourism are constantly emerging. Dragon boat racing, eating rice dumplings, singing folk songs, appreciating ancient songs in ancient books, intangible cultural heritage and traditional folk activities create a new space for host guests to share. Local governments also organically integrate traditional folk customs and folk art into cultural spaces such as museums, art galleries, libraries, theaters, cinemas, etc., enriching new scenes of deep integration of culture and tourism. According to the special survey of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, 87.9% of tourists visit cultural museums, historical and cultural blocks, participate in various intangible cultural heritage projects, and participate in music festivals, concerts and other cultural activities during holidays.

Night economy has become the highlight of cultural and tourism consumption market during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. According to the special survey of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, affected by the high temperature and the continuous enrichment of night tourism products in the destination, the proportion of tourists participating in night tourism during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday reached 22.3%, up 7.9 percentage points from the same period in 2022. According to data monitoring, during the Dragon Boat Festival, the night passenger flow of 243 national night culture and tourism consumption clusters was 36.253 million person times, with an average of 49.7 million person times per night in each cluster, an increase of 38.8% over the same period in 2022.

The demand for tourism and leisure in the market segments is tapped and released. During the holiday, the temperature in all parts of the country is generally rising, and summer vacation and health tourism have become the first choice for many tourists. The pleasant scenery and comfortable climate in Yunnan, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, Inner Mongolia, Guizhou and other places have become a popular choice for many young people to travel by car and summer. Qingdao, Dalian, Qinhuangdao, Yantai, Weihai, Ningbo and other coastal tourist destinations have become the first choice for many citizens and tourists to enjoy the cool summer. Camping ground drifting in Shanghai, Beijing and other places ushered in a large number of passenger flows, and water park scenic spots in Guangzhou, Sanya and other places were favored by parents and children. The holiday comes at the end of the high school entrance examination and the end of the summer harvest. The travel demand of students and migrant workers has increased significantly. Many scenic spots in Sichuan have offered preferential measures to students. In Beijing, Henan, Guangdong, Shaanxi and other major scenic spots, hotels, homestays, cultural and museum venues, DIY dumplings, Dragon Boat Festival science popularization research classes and other rich and colorful research experiences have been launched.
