People's Daily Online, Beijing, April 19 (Reporter Lin Lu) Recently, the Beijing Institute of Educational Sciences held a collective lesson preparation activity for ideological and political courses of secondary vocational education online and offline, and multi local linkage.

It is understood that the purpose of this activity is to use digital technology to organize ideological and political teachers in secondary vocational schools across the city to carry out teaching and research activities, improve teachers' understanding and analysis ability, teaching design and implementation ability of the unified ideological and political textbooks, promote the teaching reform of ideological and political courses in secondary vocational schools, and improve the teaching quality of ideological and political courses.

Zhong Zurong, Vice President of Beijing Institute of Educational Sciences, pointed out that ideological and political courses are the key courses for schools to implement morality and cultivate people. However, it is not easy to teach ideological and political courses well and for students to learn them well. Therefore, we should strengthen high-quality ideological and political teaching and research, and constantly improve teachers' professional quality.

This activity uses digital technology to realize the interaction of teachers attending the meeting, teachers showing research courses, and teachers evaluating and discussing courses.

Curriculum standards and unified textbooks provide a very good guide for the teaching reform of ideological and political courses in secondary vocational schools. However, how to implement the concept of curriculum standards into the classroom and how to use textbooks well to improve the teaching effect are still the practical problems faced by ideological and political courses in secondary vocational schools. This collective lesson preparation activity has carried out a beneficial exploration to solve this problem. It is reported that the Beijing Institute of Educational Sciences will build a normalized collective lesson preparation mechanism, explore the application of digital technology in teaching and research, innovate the teaching and research model, start from the needs and problems of ideological and political curriculum teaching reform, carry out effective teaching and research activities, and promote the reform of ideological and political curriculum teaching in the city.
