The Hundred Year Giant is China's first large-scale series of biographical documentaries focusing on the great masters who made outstanding contributions to Chinese civilization in the 20th century. As one of the key chapters of the second season of The Hundred Year Giant, Science and Technology focuses on eight representatives who have made outstanding contributions to the development of China's science and technology, including Li Siguang, Zhu Kezhen, Hou Debang, Mao Yisheng, Hua Luogeng, Qian Xuesen, Qian Sanqiang and Deng Jiaxian Popular expression and rich visual language tell the stories behind the great masters, carry forward the creative wisdom and innovative spirit contained therein, and show the demeanor of the Chinese scientific and technological giants in the 20th century.
At the launch ceremony, the family members or aides of eight scientific and technological giants were invited to share the details of scientists' work and life in those years. The audience felt that the achievements of these scientific and technological giants were not only reflected in their scientific research achievements, but also in their personality charm and spiritual outlook. The affectionate memories were moving.
It is reported that the "Centennial Master · Science and Technology" has a total of 16 episodes, which will be broadcast simultaneously on more than 30 TV stations including China Education Television and many new media platforms such as Learning Power from now on.
