"Success" is my own definition. It is different from success. I insist that success cannot be copied, but success can be practiced. This knowledge has three sources of information.
The first aspect is McKinsey's methodology. McKinsey is the most famous and earliest management consulting company in the world. It has many good methodologies. The most common working background of CEOs of Fortune 500 companies is working in McKinsey.
The second aspect is Oriental Management. Oriental management is the thought that was summarized by the sages or ancestors from Confucius, even before Confucius. In the environment of large population and vast resources in the East, the most important representative figure after the Qing Dynasty was Zeng Guofan on how to accomplish things, including how to manage oneself, things and even the world. I have to admit that I read Zeng Guofan's books the most, the most frequently, and the most fruitful. "Tao Te Ching" and "The Analects of Confucius" are too old. "Twenty four Histories" and "Zizhi Tongjian" are both good books, but they are too lengthy. They are also limited by the style of chronicles and the reserve of the historians. These writers did not directly say what they wanted to say. In contrast, Zeng Guofan stands out from the crowd and has been a man for thousands of years. As a teacher, general and minister, he has written tens of millions of words for virtue, merit and advice. Every time I open his book, regardless of the merits and demerits, there is always success, success and success behind the paper, getting things done。
The third aspect is the source of information and my management practice. Although I am very small, I have experienced the fastest growth in 20 years since China's reform and opening up. From 2000 to 2020, it will be the fastest growing two decades in China. In the past 20 years, I have worked an average of 80 to 100 hours a week. I also put these first-hand materials and experience of hard work into this book.
The framework of this book is divided into four parts: knowing friends, knowing people, knowing the world, and knowing wisdom. Know yourself, know the team, know how to deal with the world, know how to grow wisdom. The first three aspects are to start from a small perspective, and the last aspect is to focus on the big picture, so that we can do bigger things at a higher level.
Friend - for example, what to do when adversity comes, how to distinguish your desires and ambitions, how to learn to get along well with yourself, and so on.
Know people - for example, what is leadership, who has leadership, how to lead a team, how to distinguish between self-help type and enemy breaking type, and so on.
Knowing the world - for example, how to be a likeable person, what is the big taboo of being a person, how to face the dimension reduction attack of villains, the four criteria for making friends, the lethality of showing weakness, and so on.
Knowledge of wisdom - at the level of wisdom, why is it so difficult to get things done, why is life the first, why should we talk more about problems, less about reason, what is really good for you, how to look at luck, and so on.
I have heard other people's comments that Feng Tang is just a pornographic writer. I feel very aggrieved. I am an amateur writer (although not an amateur writer), in fact, I have always had a full-time management job. I am really a top management expert and a strategic management expert, but few people know.
I have waited for 20 years to write this book just for this moment, to let everyone know that I am actually a "sweeping monk" in the management field.
I have always had a small extravagant hope and ideal. I want to be a teacher. I can take the insights and hard work I have learned through practice and talk to my classmates under the platform, but I have no chance to work hard in the office with my buttocks up all the time.
I was thinking that if I could stand on the platform in the warm spring, there would be a beautiful young man below, watching me silently, listening to what I really know, what I really know, what I really want to say, and what I feel excited about. Finally, why did I write Feng Tang's Mind Skill of Success? For a long time, I have been trying to find several management courses suitable for Chinese managers. They are not the management knowledge that can be known at Baidu, the basic management framework taught by MBA, or the fashionable course that foreigners drag a simple management tool into a lengthy lecture, but those that can combine ancient and modern times, both at home and abroad, covering theory and practice The management course that can really guide Chinese managers to overcome the demons and lead the team through the fog has not been found. I think since there is no such thing in the market, I should write it if I am not afraid of recruiting people.
