"I'm a nurse, so I don't need to emphasize that I'm a male nurse." On May 9, three days before the International Nurses Day, Zhang Hua told reporters while having lunch between the two sets of operations.
Zhang Hua, 29, is a male nurse in the Operation Center of Tianjin First Central Hospital. After graduating from Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2006, he worked here. The main nursing work of the nurses in the operation center every day is to cooperate with the doctors in all departments of the hospital to complete the operation: from connecting the patients to the operating room, to pacifying the patients, to the preparation before anesthesia, to the "response" to the doctors during the operation, and then to clean the operating room after the operation to prepare for the next operation. When busy, the nurses in the operating center have to go around the operating table for more than ten hours a day.
