The so-called spine related diseases are a series of symptoms caused by the injury of perivertebral soft tissue, dislocation of small joints, hyperplasia and degeneration, and aseptic inflammation of the tissues around the spine, which stimulate and compress the spinal nerves and visceral nerves. However, the organs or tissues that cause the disease are separated from the spine and have their own functions. Tracing back to the source, the originator of the diagnosis and treatment of spine related diseases should be attributed to traditional Chinese medicine. As early as 2000 years ago, traditional Chinese medicine had discussed spine related diseases. It was more than a hundred years ago (1885) that the theory of spine related diseases in western medicine was established by D D. Palmder first put forward the theory of "spine and disease". In 1983, during the academic exchange in Guangzhou, the American Porker Hand Therapy Research Association reported that the spinal dislocation caused the damage of nerve root, sympathetic nerve, vertebral artery or spinal cord and corresponding visceral symptoms.

      The incidence of spine related diseases in the clinical middle-aged and elderly population is more than 60%, and there is a trend of youth. Spine related diseases are among the most serious diseases endangering human health. Zhao Zhihong and many experts and scholars engaged in human spine and health research at home and abroad pointed out that the root of human aging and disease is mainly from the disease and aging of the spine itself, so they called on human beings to pay attention to the spine, protect the spine, delay its degeneration, and prevent its aging, so as to prevent and control the occurrence of spinal disease and spinal related diseases.
