On the Volunteer Day of December 4, Sunshine volunteers came to Ditan Park to publicize the story of Wang Zhan to tourists. On December 11, Sunshine volunteers took to the streets again to raise money for Wang. In just one day, they raised more than 6000 yuan. On January 2, 2012, Sunshine Volunteers will hold a fund-raising party for Wang Zheng. According to volunteer Xu Meng, more than 100000 yuan raised by the team in the early stage is almost spent, and further donations are still needed to save Wang Zheng's life.
Wang Zheng is currently receiving treatment in Beijing Daopei Hospital. The condition has been controlled and stabilized, and Wang Zheng's match has been found. The doctors of the hospital also reprinted Wang Zheng's microblog on their own microblog, hoping that more people could see and help him. Wu Tong, director of the transplant center, is also concerned about Wang Zheng's mood while paying attention to his illness, and often interacts with him on Weibo.
Wang Zheng is also eager to return to the volunteer team as soon as possible. Even in his hospital bed, he still worried about the children he had helped.
