Overview of Jinka Town
【 Ethiopia * East and South Africa 】
Jinka Town is one of the three towns in the Omo Valley where people can stay, and it is also the only way to reach the Lippan people. We stayed here for two nights and strolled around the town three times. The so-called town only has a relatively concentrated population with some shops and transportation lines. In other aspects, it is similar to the small villages in some parts of China. There are no decent houses, let alone decent roads (almost all dirt roads). This shows the poverty situation in southern Ethiopia. Many more children follow foreigners when they see them, begging for money or food, which is both annoying and pathetic!
The only asphalt road passing Jinka Town
One by one, bamboo fences are set up beside the road. Guess what they are used for?
Although backward, there is still public transportation.
Cattle crossing the road in a big way is normal in Ethiopia and one of the reasons for slow speed.
Young people are playing volleyball in the square.
Children play hand football
Cold shops and roads
People here are probably guessing Mei's order to play a gambling game.
The wood of a cart is extremely simple and rough.
