Experience of buying air tickets when traveling to Africa
This trip to four African countries can only be completed by air because of poor railways and roads in Africa. We took a total of nine flights (including transit), as follows:
I Shanghai flies to Johannesburg, South Africa (where the five of us meet in Hong Kong);
II Johannesburg Flying Cape Town;
III Cape Town flies to Livingston, Zambia;
IV Livingston flew to its capital, Lusaka;
V Lusaka flies to Nairobi, the capital of Kenya;
VI Nairobi flies to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia;
VII Addis Ababa flies to Lalibela, Ethiopia;
VIII Siababa, Lalibela Feiya;
IX Addis Ababa flies to Shanghai (transit in Dubai).
Arrive in Johannesburg, South Africa and enter the airport hall after customs clearance.
They took Cathay Pacific Airlines, South African Airlines, Kenya Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines and Emirates in Hong Kong.
Most of the time, you'd better take the airport shuttle bus or walk to the aircraft gangway.
During the nine trips, I have seen all kinds of civil aviation planes. The smallest plane is from Livingston, Zambia to Lusaka, the capital thirty Seat, small enough. But the flight was very smooth, and snacks were also provided for just one hour, hehe!
The five people we traveled together operated computers at their homes in Shanghai, Beijing and Nanjing and bought tickets online. One of my big gains on this trip is to buy tickets for foreign sections online. In the past, when traveling, people usually bought two round-trip tickets. This time, I bought a nine way ticket. These tickets are on Taobao "Ali Travel", "Qunar.com" and "Ctrip". In practice, "Qunar.com" is the cheapest, followed by "Ali Travel". But the difference is not very big, about 100 yuan. When buying tickets online, these three websites should be completely reliable. However, there are also problems. For example, the round-trip tickets from Addis Ababa to Lalibela all indicate“ zero luggage ”。 I felt very depressed at that time. The ticket price was not cheap. How could it be“ zero luggage ”？ After consulting the local airport, I learned that I could bring one twenty Kilograms of luggage is really fooling people!
