Ancient literature on fishing (reprinted from a masterpiece)

Blue sky, white clouds, sunshine, beach, and a group of fishermen by the sea.

When you go to the seaside for morning exercises or walks, no matter in the morning or in the evening, you can always see some fishermen fishing at the seaside. At the end of Heping Avenue, where I often go, there are about ten people at most times, and three or four at least. Especially in winter in Hainan, perhaps more people come to spend their holidays and fish. It is said that some fishing enthusiasts can catch fish from morning to evening. When my interest is strong, I wander around to witness their harvest. It seems very disappointing. Although more than ten or even twenty fish can be harvested, the fish are not big, and they are thin and long. I can't name them. For those who do not like fishing, it may be difficult to understand the nearly obsessed behavior of these fishing enthusiasts.

Anyway, for thousands of years, people have regarded fishing as a recreational activity beneficial to physical and mental health. In ancient times, many celebrities and scholars loved fishing, but their fishing purposes were quite different.

The first famous fisherman in China was not the well-known Jiang Taigong, but the ancient Emperor Shun. When he went on a tour, he fished to get food, which is different from recreational fishing in later generations. Emperor Mu, King Mu of Zhou, was the second famous fisherman after Shun. According to the "Biography of Emperor Mu", King Mu of Zhou often fished at the water's edge during the Eastern Expedition. During the Western Expedition, he once went on a tour to the State of Yin. While fishing along the Yellow River, he enjoyed the towering ancient trees along the river. At this time, King Mu of Zhou was fishing along the Yellow River, not for food, but for entertainment. Jiang Taigong, who is known for fishing with straight hooks, is the third famous fisherman. Bai Juyi commented on the purpose of this man's fishing in his poem "Fishing on the Weihe River": "In the past, white headed people also fished in Weiyang. If they did not fish, 70 people would get the King of Literature." Jiang Shang was actually waiting for the opportunity to fish in the Weihe River. In the end, he assisted King Wen to build a country, and also helped King Wu Jifa, the son of King Wen, to destroy the Shang Dynasty, and was granted the place of Qi by King Wu, realizing his desire to make contributions. Therefore, there is the story of Jiang Taigong fishing, which is widely read by later generations.

In my impression, most of the literati and scholars in the Tang Dynasty liked fishing. They also integrated their feelings about fishing into their poems, which were passed down through the ages, so that future generations can share their joy and interest in fishing.

For example, Han Yu wrote a poem entitled "To Hou Xi", about him and his student Hou Qi going fishing together. The poem wrote: "My party Hou Sheng, who started as an uncle, called me to take a fishing pole to catch warm water. He whipped his horse out of Dumen in the morning and walked through the thorns every day. The warm water was faint and flowing, as deep as a rut and wide. The toad jumped over the bird bath, and even if there was no fish to ask for. I had no choice but to hold the needle and break it into pieces and throw mud into it. When he sat down firmly until dusk, his hands were tired and his eyes were tired. It was too late to move, and the shrimp and the leech seemed doubtful. When the pole is lifted and the lead wire is pulled, one inch of it can be divided into two parts. It was Marquis and Han Zi who sighed for a long time. I'm doing this today. It's just my rule. For half a lifetime, let alone the election, only one can become a beauty. Don't you see the situation in the world? What will you do after your hard work. It is convenient to take his wife and son with him, and when he enters Jiying in the south, there is no return. Uncle 𨑓 You are so sharp today. I will not sneer at you. If you want to fish, you must go far away. How can a big fish live in Juus? " They went fishing in a small river ditch and sat down hard all day. Finally, they caught a very small fish. In fact, it's normal. Where can there be big fish in a small ditch? Such small fish, just catch more, and how meaningful it is... If you want to catch big fish, you should go to the far river.

Another example is Li Bai, the "Poetry Immortal", who wrote a beautiful sentence in "Difficult Travel", "When you are free to fish on the green stream, you suddenly take a boat by the side of the sun". And Du Fu, the "sage of poetry", wrote in Jiang Cun: "The Qingjiang River embraces the village in a winding way, and everything in Changxia River Village is quiet. Since I left, I have come to Liang Shangyan, and I have made blind dates close to the gulls in the water. The old wife draws paper for chess games, and the child strikes the needle for fishing hooks." With a few simple strokes, the picture of life in a small fishing village in the Tang Dynasty is vividly reproduced.

Another example is Liu Zongyuan, who is fond of fishing. In his poem "Snow on the River", he wrote a famous saying: "Birds fly in thousands of mountains, and people trace ash along thousands of paths. The boat with a rainbow hat catches the snow on the cold river alone."

Zhang Zhihe, a famous Taoist, poet and poet in the Tang Dynasty, was known as a "wannabe fisherman", and his "nickname" told us that he was an expert fisherman. He lived in seclusion and fished in the Jianghu. He wrote five "Fishing Songs", one of which is "Egrets fly in front of Xisai Mountain, mandarin fish are fat in peach blossom and flowing water. Green Ruo bamboo hat, green coir raincoat, and rain and wind do not have to return." This one is the most popular one for reciting people. The Ming Dynasty edition of Shiyu Shupu published a picture of the fisherman, describing the significance of fishing by Zhang Zhi and Yanbo.

Tang Taizong Dali Period ten Sikong Shu, one of the "Ten Talented Scholars in Dali" of a poetic school represented by Sikong Shu, wrote in the poem "Jiang Cun Ji Shi Shi Shi": "Diao Lun has never tied the boat since he came, and Jiang Cun is at the end of the moon and can sleep. Even if the wind blows away overnight, he is only near the yellow flower and shallow water." This describes the elegant taste of the poet fishing in the lonely natural scenery. Cen Shen, the frontier poet of the Tang Dynasty, although he went out twice and wrote more than 70 frontier poems, one of his poems, "Fisherman", also said well: "The old man in the boat is clear with the waves, and his heart is clear with the waves." The fisherman was sailing on the waves, and he caught a noble taste of pure heart and few desires, and his mind was as calm as water, not fish!

Since ancient times, countless fishing enthusiasts have been intoxicated with this activity. It can be seen that the fun can not be described in words. With their love for nature and passion for life, they walked to the riverside, the lakeside, and the coast to experience the lively outdoor life, appreciate the beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains, and enjoy the beautiful time of life.
