People's Daily Online, Beijing, May 19 (Reporter Chi Mengrui) In order to further improve the operational capability of the micro fire station in the area under its jurisdiction, and strengthen the skill training and practical exercise of rescue personnel, on May 17, Beixinqiao Street, Dongcheng District, in conjunction with Beixinqiao Fire Rescue Station, Dongcheng District Fire Detachment, organized the 2024 mini fire station contest.

A total of 26 key units of micro fire stations participated in the event, with more than 100 participants. There are four events in the competition, namely, wearing air breathing apparatus in situ, fire extinguisher "extinguishing fire", fire hydrant "producing water", and fire safety general knowledge theory competition. The first place in a single event and the top three in a group will be awarded.

According to the relevant person in charge of Beixinqiao Neighborhood, the subject of the "big martial arts contest" is based on practicality, professionalism and practicality, focusing on improving the skill level and emergency response ability of the diversified fire teams in the area under its jurisdiction, and building a solid defense line for fire safety in the area under its jurisdiction.

At the scene of the big martial arts contest, the team members showed their solid skills in daily training, completed all required actions in an orderly manner, showed a good competitive state, and achieved the goal of promoting training and learning through competition.

Next, under the guidance of Dongcheng District Fire Detachment, Beixinqiao Neighborhood will continue to strengthen the emergency state construction of micro fire stations under its jurisdiction, comprehensively improve the practical firefighting and rescue capabilities of various forms of fire teams, adhere to the working standards of "construction, management, training and use", and constantly promote the in-depth development of the socialization level of fire work.

In addition, business training will be carried out for members of key fire safety units and community micro stations in batches to give full play to the advantages of micro stations in many aspects, familiarity, proximity and quick response, carry out training in key subjects such as fire fighting at the beginning, personnel evacuation and escape, and effectively improve the fire prevention and extinguishing skills of members of micro fire stations.
