If you look down from the sky at the factory of ABB, one of the top 500 companies in the world, in Yizhuang, you will see that the roof is covered with solar photovoltaic panels. This roof can generate about 420000 kilowatt hours of electricity a year, which is equivalent to reducing about 920 tons of greenhouse gas emissions in more than two years after transformation.
In Yizhuang, an important industrial town with concentrated industries, green is becoming the "background" of factories. Beijing Economic Development Zone recently introduced that, through years of policy support, capital guidance and enterprise upgrading, it now has 33 national green factories, ranking first in the city.
Green manufacturing system blooms in many places
In Yizhuang, ABB's three subsidiaries are all national green factories. In addition to photovoltaic on the roof, the green point of the factory also lies in smart energy management: use big data and artificial intelligence to realize equipment monitoring, optimization, prediction and management. These measures helped reduce greenhouse gas emissions in its own operations by about 65% in three years.
More and more such green factories rise: BOE's two factories in Yizhuang take the lead in realizing 100% use of reclaimed water as production water; Sanofi Pharmaceutical uses green and intelligent lighting and air conditioning systems, reducing energy consumption by 31% and 10% on average each year; Yuekang Pharmaceutical can save thousands of kilowatts of heat every day by recovering heat from flue gas waste heat instead of raw steam
Up to now, there are 33 national green factories in Beijing Yizhuang, ranking first in the city. "The national level green factories cover the four leading industries in Yizhuang, Beijing, and the green manufacturing system has blossomed in many places," said the relevant person in charge of Beijing Economic Development Zone.
Not only that. High quality recycled water also flows in the water supply pipeline connecting a large number of industrial plants. "We have produced 140 million tons of high-quality industrial reclaimed water, accounting for about one-third of the total water supply in the development zone, which is equivalent to 70 Kunming lakes." The relevant person in charge of Beijing Yizhuang Environmental Science and Technology Group, which operates several water plants, said that the reclaimed water plant uses multiple water treatment processes, such as double membrane process, to make the regional sewage treatment rate reach 100%.
Green factory affects green industry chain
In the green tide, every enterprise is not fighting alone. A green factory should drive an industrial chain and supply chain to "green".
BOE, which is itself a green factory, has made renewed efforts to develop a green supply chain management strategy from key links such as green supplier management, green production, green recycling system, and building a green information collection, monitoring and disclosure platform, so as to improve the green development of the industrial chain.
If the green supply chain is to explore the transformation of the industry, and the cultivation of the whole chain of green energy industry is a new layout - since 2020, Yizhuang has successively introduced important forces in the hydrogen energy industry chain, such as the United Fuel Cell, Huafeng Fuel Cell, and Xinyan Hydrogen Energy Headquarters, to layout the hydrogen energy industry. Today, a certain foundation has been formed in the field of hydrogen energy, covering the whole industrial chain of hydrogen energy industry, such as manufacturing, storage, transportation, processing, use and research.
Capital helps the industry move towards "green"
By the Liangshui River, the huge windmill turns with the wind. Next to the windmill, it is China's first renewable energy "carbon neutral" smart park. "We have spent more than ten years exploring an innovative path of smart energy driving smart parks." The relevant person in charge of Goldwind Technology explained the secret: by deploying renewable energy power generation equipment, power can be used spontaneously, and various energy-saving measures can further improve the energy efficiency of the parks.
In Yizhuang, which gathers in the industrial park, these experiences are accelerating to replicate. "We actively copied and promoted the 'Golden Wind Zero Carbon' model, and have completed eight pilot projects in carbon neutrality." The relevant person in charge of Beijing Economic Development Zone introduced that Beijing Yizhuang also launched a "green development fund", which has supported 596 projects in environmental protection, energy conservation, green buildings and other projects, with a supporting fund of 333 million yuan, driven enterprises to invest 1.662 billion yuan in environmental protection, and saved 5871.5 tons of standard coal.
This year, Yizhuang will promote the whole district photovoltaic pilot project; Encourage enterprises to build "zero carbon factory" and "zero carbon workshop" and create "zero carbon products"; Accelerate the transformation and application of "dual carbon" scientific and technological achievements, and build a green low-carbon technology innovation center with international influence from smart low-carbon energy supply, low-carbon transportation, low-carbon buildings and other aspects.
