I don't like to use the bulky active cooling fan for thin and light notebooks, so I have made several "pure physical padding" four elevated bases (a set) to pad the notebook 2~3cm higher, so that the back of the notebook has more space from the desktop, the air circulation is better, and the problem of poor heat dissipation is just improved. As for why not "use a few waste beverage bottle caps for zero cost DIY", I used this DIY several years ago. Now I buy ready-made DIY, not because I want to improve some "quality of life". If you want to use this scheme, you really don't want to give up money. You can just use the plastic wrap to cut 4 cylinder shaped columns with the remaining hard straight cylinders, But it is also quite practical.
However, with the gradual transformation of the e-sports desktop in 2022, I have already looked down upon this [4-corner pure physical padding] scheme. As I said before, I left some budget for the notebook, so I directly obtained a vertical laptop stand that can be used horizontally and vertically. The contact position of the notebook is covered with a large area of silicone pad, which is very well protected, and there will be no scratch caused by metal collision; At the same time, the bracket and the desktop are also separated by a silicone pad, which can prevent scratches in multiple dimensions and also have the effect of shock absorption and anti-skid.
The aluminum alloy materials are in place, and the side holes and hollows ensure the air circulation, and the support is also very stable. The size of this enlarged model is also very consistent with the size of my 14 inch 3:2 ratio screen MateBook.
The following is the state of vertical storage. The measured center of gravity is in the middle, and there is no unstable short board in the design. In addition, the notebook's floor area is condensed to the best, leaving a large area of desktop space to meet the storage needs.
Although it is mainly used for laptops, it is also suitable for the support of tablet computers, which is just the right viewing angle when I want to pursue the drama.
