Rapoo is also one of the earliest peripheral manufacturers in China. In recent years, it has also launched a number of Bluetooth keyboard products, covering video games, daily office and other categories. Recently, we had the honor to receive a ralemo Pre 5 multi-mode wireless mechanical keyboard that has just been launched by Leibo through the Golden Evaluation. We will share our experience with you while building a new desktop.
Unpacking
The ralemo series products have changed the packaging style of Rapoo's old blue and white color matching to a pure white style. The front of the box has replaced the original pattern with relief, which looks very exquisite.
A long self-adhesive nameplate is pasted on the lower back of the box, recording the functional characteristics, technical parameters, manufacturer information, etc. of the keyboard, and the blue and serial number of the keyboard are marked on the lower right corner.
The internal display of the package is regular, the keyboard is placed in the packaging mold, the outside is protected by a layer of frosted plastic bag, and other accessories are placed in the lower dark grid.

Appearance design
The ralemo series products follow colourful The simple design style, in a sense, is more inclined to the feminine aesthetic preference. The round keycaps are like candy, and the keyboard itself also acts as a fruit tray, giving the original traditional table a touch of inspiration. Ice and snow white, Manmiao pink, intellectual blue and slightly drunk purple are also popular low saturation colors, which means a kind of Morandi style.
The keyboard itself has also changed the traditional design style, and its shape has also been optimized and improved. The circle can be said to be the most used element in the ralemo Pre 5, such as the round keycap, the excessive arc R angle, etc., which makes the keyboard look more rounded, flexible, and more approachable. In addition, the compact size of 312 * 141 * 43.1mm will not occupy too much space on the desktop.
Interestingly, the ralemo Pre 5 adopts a two-layer suspended structure design, with the key cap and shaft suspended above the base, which is not very different from the general keyboard. The difference is that the base of the keyboard is not an integrated structure with the outer frame, but is lined in the outer frame like a coaster. There is also a small gap between the base and the frame, which seems to be suspended. It has to be said that Rapoo has also made great efforts in the design of ralemo series products.
The Rapo ralemo Pre 5 uses the 79 key layout, removes the keypad area and function key area, and integrates some necessary keys, more like the keyboard layout on a 14 inch notebook. It is easy to get used to at first, but it is not efficient for accountants to input numbers without a number area.
Most of the keys are designed as round keycaps, and some of the longer keycaps have also been changed to capsule shape, which matches the overall style. The surface of the key cap is supplemented by skin like self perception, which makes the touch warm and delicate. The font printing is also relatively clear, and it is replaced by a smaller font, which looks more refreshing. The side of the key cap is also specially designed with wrinkles, which is somewhat similar to the feeling of manual steamed buns, and has a unique flavor.
Type C interface and toggle Power Supply The switch is reserved on the left side of the fuselage. It is more convenient to plug and unplug cables or operate the switch. Personally, it is more user-friendly than the reserved position on the rear.
There is a convex support part behind the back of the keyboard, and I guess this part should have a built-in battery. White rubber support foot pads are reserved at the four corners to avoid scratches caused by friction between the bottom of the keyboard and the desktop. A self-adhesive nameplate is pasted in the middle to record the input power and manufacturer information of the keyboard.

The multimode connection is not only more compatible, but also more friendly to the multi device party. It can be connected to five different devices in four ways at the same time. You can switch to the corresponding device only by pressing the shortcut key on the keyboard, which can be called a magic weapon to improve productivity.
In terms of shaft body, Rapoo ralemo Pre 5 is equipped with the office mechanical shaft independently developed by Rapoo, and provides four versions of black shaft, green shaft, tea shaft and red shaft. The one I received is a green shaft. The total stroke is about 1.3mm, and the trigger pressure is about 45N. It has the strongest sense of falling in the middle of several shaft bodies. The key rebound feedback is clear, and the sound is clear and pleasant. It is the most representative shaft body in the mechanical keyboard.
In the use of the actual office scene, the ralemo Pre 5 performs well. When coding, the green axis brings a sense of smoothness and pleasure that other axis bodies cannot match. In addition, the trigger force required by Rapoo's independent axis body is not as strong as that of the original green axis of CHERRY, so you can experience the sense of paragraphs and use it for a long time without feeling tired and weak. Although I usually use more red axes, it's natural to change to Rapoo's green axes.
The only thing I'm not used to is that the key cap of the ralemo Pre 5 is round and relatively small. The distance between individual keys is slightly larger. In addition, the surface of the key cap is almost flat, with no concave slope. When I hit it quickly, I always feel that my fingers will slide onto other keys. It takes a little time to get used to it.
Considering that many office workers use Mac computers, the ralemo Pre 5 also supports Mac mode. After switching to Mac mode through Fn+F12, the Windows key can be used as the option key, and the Alt key can be used as the Command key. Users with dual devices and dual platforms can also switch directly through different connection modes.
When playing the game, the ralemo Pre 5 is more natural and easy. Like playing《 League of Heroes 》When the character moves, it is mostly done by the mouse, and the keyboard is more responsible for releasing skills. The sense of blue axis paragraph is obvious, and the tapping is very smooth. When releasing skills, it gives people a pleasant feeling of "amplification", while not easy to touch by mistake.

In the wired mode, Rapo ralemo Pre 5 supports full key non impact. Any key can be input at the same time, and each key can accurately execute the input command. For game players or Adobe family Software It is relatively friendly for the practitioners, and can respond accurately when using the shortcut key combination. In Bluetooth and 2.4G modes, full key non punch is not supported.
Considering the convenience of daily use, the ralemo Pre 5 also has many built-in key combination functions, which can be realized through Fn+F3~F11, covering a variety of scenarios such as web browsing and multimedia control. In addition, Fn+Del is a screenshot function, and Fn+numbers 1~5 can be switched between different devices.
| Backlight effect
As a keyboard focusing on office scenes, the ralemo Pre 5 does not choose the fancy RGB backlight effect, but uses the simplest white light as decoration. Against the white backlight, the floating effect of the key cap itself is more prominent, which adds a more obvious sense of hierarchy to the keyboard as a whole, and plays the role of illuminating the keyboard text.
The ralemo Pre 5 has six preset backlight modes: ripple, constant light, single light, breath, stars, dots and curves. You can switch between the six modes by pressing the shortcut key Fn+Ctrl+R. In addition, the backlight supports four gear brightness adjustment. The shortcut key Fn+F1 reduces the brightness, and Fn+F2 increases the brightness.
| Battery life charging
The Raphaemo Pre 5 is equipped with a 4000mAh lithium battery, which can be used for about 13 days when fully charged. Of course, the specific endurance has a lot to do with the actual usage habits. It is recommended to turn off the power switch when not in use.
It can be charged through the Type C interface on the left side of the body. The input power is 5V-1A. It can be plugged into the USB interface of the computer. It supports punching while using. It takes about 4 hours to fully charge.

For example, the keys are relatively small and the surface is relatively flat, and there is the possibility of accidental touch when the keys are repeatedly pressed; In addition, the design of candy tray depression makes it easy to hide dirt inside the keyboard.
