At the age of 30, he and his wife moved to Kenya, Africa, to study lions there.It was in Africa that he discovered the special beauty of the planet from the sky by chance from the hot air balloon.

After returning to France, he began to be keen on aerial photography, and gradually began to publish photos in well-known journals such as Life and National Geographic, becoming a famous photographer.In 1989, he decided to collect 100 outstanding photos and publish them as a book.Then, guided by his passion, he began to travel around the world and took a lot of aerial photos.
In 1995, under the sponsorship of UNESCO [UNESCO], he created an aviation magazine: Earth From Above (feeling the breath of the earth, also known as bird's-eye view of the earth).[2]
