The structure of PP melt blown filter element is a gradual diameter tightening structure with coarse outer fiber, fine inner fiber, loose outer layer and compact inner layer. The unique gradient deep filtration has formed a three-dimensional slag filtering effect, which is characterized by high porosity, high retention rate, large sewage holding capacity, large flow rate and low pressure drop.
Melt blown process is a kind of polymer extrusion nonwovens process, which originated in the early 1950s. In order to collect radioactive particles from nuclear tests, the U.S. Navy Laboratory began to develop filter materials with ultra-fine filtration effect, and published research results in 1954. Melt blown technology in China originated in the late 1950s and early 1960s, and the equipment studied is intermittent. By the late 1960s and early 1970s, the number of batch meltblown equipment in China had reached more than 200. The continuous production line was introduced from the United States and Germany from about 92-94. So far, it is estimated that there are still more than 300 intermittent meltblown equipment in operation nationwide.
Theoretically, all thermoplastic (high-temperature melting, low-temperature solidification) polymer chip raw materials can be used for the manufacturing process of melt blown filter element. Polypropylene is one of the most widely used chip materials for melt blown process. In addition, the common polymer chip materials for melt blown process include polyester, polyamide, polyethylene teflon polystyrene , PBT, EMA, EVA, etc. The polymerization degree of olefin polymer raw materials (such as polypropylene) is high, so the melt blowing can be smooth when the heating temperature is 100 ℃ higher than its melting point, while the melt blowing can be carried out when the heating temperature of polyester is slightly higher than its melting point. Olefin raw materials generally do not need drying.

1. Filter element shall be selected according to the accuracy of the filtering liquid and the impurities contained in it. Viscous liquid can be filtered in two stages, and the primary filtration can be used to reduce the resistance and extend the service life of the filter element (generally 3-4 times).
2. Install the filter element correctly. If the filtered water is polluted, carefully check whether the filter element is skewed, and whether the two ends are aligned and pressed tightly.
3. When the pressure difference reaches 0.2MPa, the filter element shall be cleaned or replaced.
