In 1981, Journal of Mathematical Research and Exposition(Mathematical Research and Review)fromXu LizhiProfessor founded[4]。
In 2009, the Journal of Mathematical Research and Exposition was changed from a quarterly issue to a bimonthly issue, which was published in the last ten days of every single month[2][4]。
In 2012, with the approval of the former General Administration of Press and Publication, the Journal of Mathematical Research and Exposition was officially renamed as Journal of Mathematical Research with Applications(Mathematics Research and Application》）, and change the corresponding domestic and international serial numbers[4]。
In January 2013, with the approval of the former General Administration of Press and Publication, the Chinese Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics became the second sponsor of the Journal of Mathematical Research with Applications and designated it as the journal of the Chinese Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics[5]。
In December 2014, Journal of Mathematical Research with Applications became the first batch of academic journals recognized by the former State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of China[6]。
