The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers was formed by the merger of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Institute of Radio Engineers in 1963. It has more than 430000 members worldwide. As the largest professional technical organization in the world, IEEE published Technical literature The number accounts for 30% of the global similar literature.
