The latest high-precision lunar geological atlas was led by Ouyang Ziyuan, academician of the Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Liu Jianzhong, a researcher, together with scientists and cartographers from Jilin University, Shandong University, China University of Geosciences (Beijing), Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Geosciences, and Institute of Geographic Sciences and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences,It has been jointly researched and prepared since 2012.
