On April 23, 2015, the Shaanxi Provincial Federation of Trade Unions held a meeting of leading cadres at or above the department level and announced that the provincial party committee had decided that Huang Wei would no longer serve as the secretary and chairman of the party group of the Shaanxi Provincial Federation of Trade Unions.[3]
On January 29, 2016, the third plenary meeting of the fourth session of the 12th People's Congress of Shaanxi Province was held.The meeting voted to accept Huang Wei's resignation as Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the 12th Shaanxi Provincial People's Congress.[4]
