Beidao, a poet who has attracted the attention of the international literary world and won the Nobel Prize for Literature for many times, has gone overseas from the mainland, and has hidden the political cry Shen to the highest performance of poetry. He has the remoteness of Eliot's "wasteland" and the realm of Tang poetry. It is light and interesting, from ego to ego, and reaches the peak of art. This collection of poems includes fifty works of the Western period from 1993 to 1996. It has a broad vision, focuses on the expression of spiritual feelings, presents a complete individual, and has a high degree of literariness and sense of the times. [1]

Most people in North Island are still unfamiliar. Although he was nominated for the Nobel Literature Prize, he is also nominated in 2008. It's a pity that I knew this literary master so late because I was ignorant. I forgot 2008 The Nobel Prize in Literature The name of that writer, but know our Beidao master. Although he had nothing to do with this award. Many of our writers and masters are asking why China cannot win the Nobel Prize for Literature? I also remember a festival a few days ago, which was a famous Italian writer's demonstration of the current situation of Chinese literature and made three clear points:
First, differences in cultural awareness
Second, the difference of language foundation
Third, differences in writing forms
He said that China could not get The Nobel Prize in Literature Related to these three points, the cultural basis of East and West is too different. Although literature has no borders, as a global literary award, Chinese literature has not been able to integrate into it, which may be difficult. We have a deep cultural heritage, and English letters cannot be expressed. Only Chinese characters can express dozens of feelings.
It is not significant for China to win or not win the Nobel Prize for Literature. What matters is whether our literary road with Chinese characteristics is good or far away?
The Nobel Prize in Literature is like a public praise, symbolizing honor. But it can't be said that it can't be said that our 5000 year culture can't be denied by a Nobel Prize for Literature.
"Landscape above zero" is Mr. Kitajima's understanding of life and life, positive and optimistic, natural attitude. Believe that things are connected, the darkness is coming, but there will always be lightning. Desperate pen can blossom, looking for the way back. What are we afraid of? Believe that the light of love can illuminate the landscape above zero.
The landscape above zero is like the sun rising on the horizon, which is the dawn and hope after we have walked through the confusion. Learn to appreciate the scenery above zero. There is darkness, there is light and lightning, there is rain, there is rainbow, there is love, there is a journey.
Concise and direct to the essence, overflowing with poetic light.
North Island: Scenery above zero
"Despice is the passport of the despicable, and nobility is the epitaph of the noble."
I know the name of the poet "Beidao" is very late, even if I can recite the "despicable" sentence skillfully very early. This song was written in the early Answer. Beidao now feels ashamed and says that he failed to "get rid of the influence of the grand discourse system" and has a "tendency to language violence".
My love for poetry originated in the 1980s. In the prime of life, she is fond of copying poems such as "the gentleness of bowing her head", "wandering towards greener grass" or "how can I thank you", "you see the scenery on the bridge", "a flowering tree". Of course, today is still love, but her enthusiasm is much less than before.
The poem essay "The Rose of Time" by Kitajima undoubtedly opened a window for me and brought me a different scenery. Reading such anthologies, we can see where the height of poetry lies - those unique voices are not just language games of the brain, but expressions of blood, a perfect combination of the great spiritual commitment to human suffering and the language of turning stone into gold.
The Rose of Time contains the poems of nine poets in the 20th century, whom the author called "the most brilliant golden age in the history of human poetry": Lorga, Mandelstam, Rilke, Trakker, Celan, Pasternak, Transtr ö mer, Aiki, Dylan Thomas. These names are experienced and washed in the passage of time, and I believe they will be more and more brilliant.
Intellectuals thesis. The beauty of the anthology is that it is not only a biography of people, but also an appreciation of poetry - this book is an enlightenment for those who have not yet entered modern poetry. Under Mandelstam's pen, back to the familiar city, "like childhood mumps", and "yesterday's sun" can be "carried away on a black stretcher"; Celan can "make me bitter" and "count me into almonds"; Rilke's "flag" can foretell that "I recognize the storm and am as excited as the sea"; Pasternak used "ink to cry" in "February" and "ignite the black spring"; Transtr ö mer's words in "strong light, like a monkey jumping to the fence"; What's more, Dylan Thomas can "urge my green age" by "the power of stimulating flowers through green fuse"... "green stem" has become the "fuse", which cannot but be surprised at the poets' skill of intention selection - these things are common, but the poets have penetrated the web of language and logic through shortening, lengthening, grafting, reversing and other means, The defamiliarization enriches the spectrum of images, thus updating our habitual responses, arousing a fresh and wonderful feeling, and adding aesthetic interest. This is probably the principle of defamiliarization of artistic skills - "When you write well, you are alive".
Translating foreign poetry is really not easy. With the unique sensitivity to language and the accurate grasp of the original text, the two gears really mesh to produce an excellent translation. In the book, the author goes to great lengths to list different versions of the same poem and compare their advantages and disadvantages. He said, "A good translation is like a shepherd, leading us into the pasture." A bad translation will spoil people's appetite. He asked the translation to be faithful to the original, try to maintain the directness and correspondence of the language, and avoid embellishment. He can't tolerate the idea of "emancipating feet and wearing shoes" - to force the form in order to gather words and rhymes, which destroys the natural sense of language and rhythm.
Indeed, as a poet, Beidao has a keen intuition about poetry. He is good at finding a new rhythm in the new language. His translation is sonorous, concise, full and simple, just like his poetic style. Every word gains weight, reflecting a kind of strength, a kind of pure steel power without impurities.
Such comparison is subtle and rigorous. He admitted that his translation was "based on the previous version, and gained a high degree of understanding, and thus climbed up". His harshness and fastidiousness are the embodiment of his pursuit of perfection as life. I looked at this part carefully and spent most of his time - he focused on the comparison of the factors of poetry itself, such as phonology, the echo and syntax of words, even punctuation and branches. Such comparative reading is a necessary exercise for a Chinese teacher.
I am religious about poetry. Only poems and novels can represent the highest literary level of a country or a nation. Poetry is a metaphysical philosophical inquiry between life and existence. The spirit of poetry is the brightest, purest and fiercest part of human emotions. However, poetry is also an art of suffering. Poets are born to suffer. All poets I know are ill fated. "My tears are full of tears, but it is not for personal misfortune". They took root in the depths of human loneliness, gathered the strength and intensity of life with the blood of youth and passion, and sprayed the ideal dawn until it dried up, exhausted, and exhausted... In Tagore's poem, it is "when you can't see the way under your feet in the dark, you take down your ribs and use them as torches to light" A group of people!
In six years, Beidao has moved home 15 times in seven countries. In his collection of essays, The Book of Failure, I saw a real man. From moving to gambling, from reading to drinking, he had no choice but to be lonely and depressed. This is too different from the well-known hero Beidao, who wrote a poem like "From the bullet hole of the star/The dawn will bleed red". Maybe it's just him who gave himself a holiday. Of course, his book of failure is still so concise and clean, "I look for Allen in the crowd" - concise and straight to the essence, overflowing with poetic light.
It is the pen that blooms in despair
It is the flower that resists the inevitable journey
It's the light of love that wakes up
