After hard work, he also insisted on attending night school for female workers. Inspired by the underground party members and teachers of the Communist Party of China, she actively carried out anti Japanese propaganda activities. Whenever she sang "Workers' Lament" in Shanghai dialect, the workers under the stage burst into tears, inspiring the female workers' hatred of the exploiters and their enthusiasm for fighting against Japan and saving the nation. In the 25th year of the Republic of China, Richie joined the Communist Youth League and became the backbone of night school. In the winter of the 29th year of the Republic of China, due to the Kuomintang's passive resistance against Japan and active anti communism, the work of the Service Corps in the Kuomintang army was greatly limited. The CPC's superior party organization decided to withdraw the service corps from the Kuomintang army, and Richie was assigned to the Political Department of the New Fourth Army in southern Anhui to work as a civilian transport.
